Formularz zapisu do biblioteki
Polish Ni Community Network Library Terms
and Conditions.
44B Church Place, Lurgan
1. Any person who has a photo ID (driving license, resident card) with the current address of residence may be enrolled in the library. In the absence of such a document, another document with a photo should be presented (passport, Polish driving license, ID card). To confirm the address of residence, a valid invoice (electricity, gas, telephone) or a bank or credit card statement must be presented.
1a) Minors who want to join the library must come with their parent or legal guardian. On the basis of the documents (see point 1) presented by the parent or legal guardian, the minor will be enrolled in the library.
2. People who want to use the library are required to pay a non-returnable deposit of £ 20. After paying the fee, the reader will be able to use the library’s resources for a period of 6 months. After this date, the reader wishing to continue using the library’s resources will be required to pay another fee.
Promotion:
Every adult who donates 5 books to the library will be exempt from paying the non-refundable deposit for three months! A library employee has the right to refuse to accept books if the books do not meet the library criteria.
2a) Parents and pupils of the Polish Saturday School in Craigavon, members and volunteers of the Polish Ni Community Network and employees of Cafe Together are exempt from the fees.
2b) Minors under the age of 16 will also be able to use the library free of charge.
ATTENTION! Minors do not have access to adult library resources!
3. The opening days and times of the library will be available on our website and Facebook page.
4. Readers are obliged to take care of the rented materials.
5. You can borrow two books or magazines at a time for a period of three weeks.
In justified cases, the library may limit or increase the number of borrowings, as well as extend the deadline for returning borrowed books.
5a) To extend the extension, please contact the library employee: agnieszka@polskieni.com.
6. The reader may ask to reserve a required item by e-mail: agnieszka@polskieni.com. A reserved book will be kept for 1 day only. If it is not picked up, the reader has to re-order.
7. In the event of damage or loss of a book or other materials, the reader is obliged to return the same item or another one indicated by a library employee or pay a penalty fee of £ 20.
8. If the terms of the book return regulations are not met within 3 weeks, the library has the right to send a reminder. The cost of the reminder is £ 10. If, despite the reminder, the borrowed materials are not returned within 4 weeks from the moment of borrowing, the library will send another reminder. The cost of another reminder is £ 15. If the reader still does not return the borrowed materials, the library will refer the matter to a law firm. The cost of referring a case to a law firm is £ 200. The reader will be charged for the above-mentioned costs.
9. All comments and suggestions should be sent to the e-mail: agnieszka@polskieni.com.
10. We present over 1,800 items to our readers. The further development of the library and the development of the reading resources will depend solely on the amount of financial resources collected from the deposit. Let us remember that the library is our common good and it is only up to us whether this project will end in success or failure. Let us take care of what is ours and support the Polish initiative in exile.
